The Reserve Bank of India has notified on December 22, 2006 that Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) can now purchase under Portfolio Investment Scheme (PIS) equity shares of Anant Raj Industries Ltd., through the secondary market in India. The Reserve Bank of India has stated that the holdings of FIIs in the company have gone down below 24 per cent limit of its paid up capital.
