The Reserve Bank of India has today notified that the foreign shareholding in M/s. Pantaloon Retail (India) Ltd. by Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs)/Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)/Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) under Portfolio Investment Scheme (PIS) has reached the overall limit of 25.77 percent of its paid up capital. Therefore, no further purchases of shares of the above company would be allowed in the stock exchanges in India on behalf of FIIs/NRIs/PIOs.
