Data on lending and deposit rates of scheduled commercial banks (SCBs) (excluding regional rural banks and small finance banks) for the month of March 2023. WMA Limit for Government of India for the first half of the Financial Year 2023-24 (April 2023 to September 2023)
It has been decided, in consultation with the Government of India, that the limit for Ways and Means Advances (WMA) for the first half of the financial year 2023-24 (April 2023 to September 2023) will be ₹1,50,000 crore. Standing Liquidity Facility for Standalone Primary Dealers
On a review of current and evolving liquidity conditions, the Reserve Bank of India has decided that an additional amount of ₹5,000 crore will be made available under the Standing Liquidity Facility for standalone primary dealers on March 31, 2023 at the prevailing repo rate. Allotments will be made at the discretion of the Reserve Bank. The amount availed under the special arrangement will be repayable on or before April 5, 2023. (Yogesh Dayal) Chief General Manager
