RBI Announces OMO Purchase of Government of India Dated Securities
Based on an assessment of prevailing liquidity conditions and also of the durable liquidity needs going forward, the Reserve Bank has decided to conduct purchase of the following Government securities under Open Market Operations for an aggregate amount of ₹ 125 billion on February 21, 2019 (Thursday) through multi-security auction using the multiple price method: Sr. No Security Date of Maturity 1 7.80% GS 2020 03-May-2020 2 7.16% GS 2023 20-May-2023 3 7.59% GS 2026
