Summary of the Electronic Consultation with the Technical Advisory Committee on Monetary Policy: July 2015

RBI launches the September 2015 Round of Inflation Expectations Survey of Households
The Reserve Bank of India has been conducting Inflation Expectations Survey of Households since September 2005. The survey for the July - September 2015 quarterly round is now being launched. The survey seeks qualitative responses from households on price changes (general prices as well as prices of specific product groups) in the next three months as well as in the next one year and quantitative responses on current, three-month ahead and one-year ahead inflation rat

The Reserve Bank of India has been conducting Consumer Confidence Survey (CCS) on a quarterly basis since June 2010. The September 2015 round of the Survey is now being launched. The survey aims at capturing subjective assessments of around 5,400 respondents across 6 metropolitan cities viz., Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi.
