RBI releases ‘Quarterly BSR-1: Outstanding Credit of Scheduled Commercial Banks for September 2016'
The Reserve Bank of India today released the web publication ‘Quarterly BSR-1: Outstanding Credit of Scheduled Commercial Banks (SCBs), September 2016’. The BSR-1 survey aims to get information regarding spatial distribution of bank credit as per occupation/activity and organisational sector of the borrower, type of account and interest rate. Such information is aggregated at the bank group, population group and state level using locational parameters of the reporting

Higher Growth in Sales and Net Profits marked Private Corporate Performance in Q2:2016-17 - RBI Data Release
Aggregate sales growth (Y-o-Y) of the listed non-government non-financial (NGNF) companies grew by 1.9 per cent in Q2:2016-17, after near stagnation in Q1:2016-17. However, raw material expenses increased in the current quarter in line with the general pause in falling global commodity prices. This resulted in a deceleration of operating profit growth at the aggregate level. Interest expenses remained unchanged in Q2:2016-17 which helped in a robust growth of 16.0 per

Data on sectoral deployment of bank credit collected on a monthly basis from select 46 scheduled commercial banks, accounting for about 95 per cent of the total non-food credit deployed by all scheduled commercial banks, for the month of November 2016 are set out in Statements I and II. RBI launches the December 2016 Round of Consumer Confidence Survey (CCS)
The Reserve Bank of India has been regularly conducting Consumer Confidence Survey (CCS). The December 2016 round of the Survey is now being launched.
