The Reserve Bank of India has today notified that the aggregate share holdings in M/s. Uttam Galva Steels Ltd. by Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs)/Non resident Indians (NRIs)/Persons of Indian Origins (PIOs) under Portfolio Investment Scheme (PIS) have gone below the prescribed threshold limit stipulated under the extant FDI policy. Therefore, the restrictions placed on the purchase of shares of M/s. Uttam Galva Steels Ltd. have been withdrawn with immediate effect.
