RBI releases 2022 list of Domestic Systemically Important Banks (D-SIBs)
State Bank of India, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank continue to be identified as Domestic Systemically Important Banks (D-SIBs), under the same bucketing structure as in the 2021 list of D-SIBs. The additional Common Equity Tier 1 (CET1) requirement for D-SIBs was phased-in from April 1, 2016 and became fully effective from April 1, 2019. The additional CET1 requirement will be in addition to the capital conservation buffer. The list of D-SIBs is as follows: Bucket Banks A

Premature redemption under Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) Scheme - Redemption Price for premature redemption due on December 31, 2022 (January 01, 2023 being a Sunday) (SGB 2017-18 Series XIV)

RBI Announces Rate of Interest on Floating Rate Savings Bond, 2020 (Taxable) - FRSB 2020 (T) for the period January 1, 2023 - June 30, 2023
In terms of Para 13 (ii) of Government of India Notification F.No.4(10)- B(W&M)/2020 dated June 26, 2020 on Floating Rate Savings Bonds, 2020 (Taxable)- FRSB 2020 (T), the coupon/interest rate of the bond would be reset half yearly, starting with January 01, 2021 and the coupon/interest rate will be set at a spread of (+) 35 bps over the prevailing National Savings Certificate (NSC) rate. 2. Launch of Utkarsh 2.0 - Reserve Bank of India’s Medium-term Strategy Framework
The Reserve Bank of India’s Medium-term Strategy Framework for the period 2023-2025 – ‘Utkarsh 2.0’ – was launched today by Shri Shaktikanta Das, Governor, RBI. The first strategy framework (Utkarsh 2022) covering the period 2019-2022 was launched in July 2019. It became a medium-term strategy document guiding the Bank’s progress towards realisation of the identified milestones. Utkarsh 2.0 harnesses the strengths of Utkarsh 2022 by retaining the six Vision statements
