The Reserve Bank of India has notified on February 13, 2007 that Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) can now purchase under Portfolio Investment Scheme (PIS) equity shares of Amar Remedies Ltd., through the secondary market in India. The Reserve Bank of India has stated that the holdings of FIIs in the company has gone below 24 per cent of its paid up capital.
