The Reserve Bank of India today released a Handbook on RBI’s Weekly Statistical Supplement (WSS). WSS is the premier publication of the Bank which is published on a weekly basis as a supplement of the RBI Monthly Bulletin. It contains high frequency current data which is extensively used by market participants and other stake holders, and is released every Friday at 5.00 PM on the Reserve Bank website.

This Handbook explains various data items and linkage among different tables which will be helpful in enhancing the understanding of the data. Apart from the print version, time series versions of all WSS tables are being made available through Database of Indian Economy (URL http://dbie.rbi.org.in).
