The Reserve Bank India has today notified that no further purchases of shares of M/s Adani Enterprises Ltd., should be made through stock exchanges in India on behalf of Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs). The Reserve Bank of India has stated that the aggregate share holding of NRIs/PIOs under Portfolio Investment Scheme (PIS) in M/s Adani Enterprises Ltd., has reached the overall limit of 10 per cent of its paid up equity capital.
