The Reserve Bank of India has today notified that Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs)/Non-Resident Indians(NRIs) can now purchase under Portfolio Investment Scheme (PIS) equity shares of Deccan Chronicle Holdings Ltd., through the secondary market in India. The Reserve Bank of India has stated that the holdings of FIIs in the company has gone below 24 per cent of its paid up capital.
