Commerce Graduation, PG Diploma in Management, a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers and a Certified Information Systems Auditor.After a six-year-stint in a commercial bank and in NABARD, Shri Sekar joined the Reserve Bank of India. Over the next three decades, he has had diverse experience in areas related to Currency Management, Payment & Settlement Systems, Banking Supervision, IT & Inclusive Banking and in capacity building. Before joining the CAB as Principal, he functioned as the Banking Ombudsman and the Ombudsman for Digital Transactions. During his tenure in banking supervision, he steered the establishment of the Cyber Security & IT Examination function. He has served in several committees constituted by the RBI on Financial Inclusion, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Consumer Education & Protection, etc. He has been invited as a guest speaker/panelist by IBA, Indian Chamber of Commerce, NIBM, CAFRAL, NAFCUB, VAMNICOM, etc. He has also authored papers on Information & Communication Technology and Financial Inclusion.
