Only Files_Files creation only For records older than 3 years from Go-live date: The TTS audio file (wherever applicable) shall be created upon the 1st time click of the listen icon on the page. Thereafter when a subsequent user wants to listen to the TTS, it shall be available in the DXP system and shall be made available to the user (shall not be required to be re-created).

[Note: This approach is suggested, considering that audio file is generated for content as per usage and to avoid unnecessary creation of audio files which would consume storage]

For records of last 3 years from Go-live date: TTS file should be available during go-live.

Clean up process:

Clean up process can be implemented  for records, for which past records are not shown to Users, where in a job can be scheduled which shall run on a monthly basis and keep only the past 2 versions of the audio TTS file and clear the rest of the audio TTS file (for versions prior to the past 2 versions).

Notes:

  1. For cases where conversion is done using a utility tool (e.g., Word or PDF to HTML conversion, Word to PDF conversion, HTML to PDF) , manual intervention is required by Content Maker (to fix the CSS and  HTML in order to segregate the content into different fields such as Title, Author etc.)  and then Content Checker needs to review it before publishing.
  2.  Also, the PDF should be a searchable PDF. Business should provide the content in the font which we're using on website else the content creator shall have to change the font of the content.
  3. When content is to be published in other regional languages apart from English and if content in some of the other regional languages is available in DXP, then publisher shall publish only when the content which is available in DXP is with the publisher and ready to be published.

                      Examples:

    1. When content is to be published in Marathi and Hindi, and Hindi is with Publisher in DXP and Marathi is with Content Maker / Checker in DXP --> Then publisher needs to wait till the content of both Hindi and Marathi to reach to the publisher else incorrect content might get published
    2. When content is to be published in Marathi and Hindi and Hindi is with Publisher in DXP and Marathi is not yet initiated or with MOX --> Then publisher can publish the Hindi content

[DS1]R1: Why PDF is considered non-convertible?

[SK(2]As confirmed with MOX team since PDF is a non-editable document type, it cannot be converted
